Blackberry Gin

Blackberry Gin

A reminder of late English summers and bramble hedgerows – just lovely.

Ingredients

  • 700ml bottle of Twelve and a Half Acres Montville Dry Gin
  • 350g blackberries
  • 150g sugar

Method

  1. Place the blackberries and sugar into a 1.5 litre sterilised jar. Pour over the gin, seal and swirl the jar until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Store in a cool, dark place and swirl the jar everyday for a week, then let to settle for another
  3. After two weeks strain the gin through a sieve into bottles. Don’t throw away the blackberries – use them in a trifle or better still another cocktail.
